Research group of the University of León, included in the UIC233 Consolidated Research Unit of Castilla y León, with extensive experience in studying the microbiological quality of foods, mainly animal products.
Teaching:
Graduate Degree courses in Veterinary Science, Food Science and Technology, Biotechnology; and Post-Graduate Degree courses on food safety and quality.
Research:
Microbiological risk assessment, microbial alteration of foods, microbiological characterisation of regional foods, moulds, and mycotoxins in food.
