Gloria Sánchez Moragas

 

PhD in Biological Sciences. Scientist of the Department of Food Preservation and Safety Technologies of the Institute of Agrochemistry and Food Technology (IATA) of the CSIC.

Her main lines of research are the development of molecular methods to detect enteric viruses, SARS-CoV-2 in food and water, and the effectiveness assessment of food processing and disinfection methods to eliminate or inactivate these pathogens.

She is a member of the working group of the European Committee for Standardisation for the detection of enteric viruses in foods.
