María del Carmen Recio Iglesias
PhD in Pharmacy. Full Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Valencia. The main lines of research in which she has worked are related to the pharmacology of natural products of plant origin; the study of the anti-inflammatory activity and mechanism of action of phenolic compounds of medicinal plants; the study of the antimicrobial activity of medicinal plants, their extracts and essential oils; and the isolation and identification of pharmacologically active products from plants.
