Silvia Pichardo Sánchez

 

PhD in Pharmacy. Full Professor of Toxicology at the University of Sevilla. Her lines of research focus on the toxicity assessment of food contaminants (such as cyanotoxins); the evaluation of compounds for use as food additives (stilbenes and Alliaceae extracts); and the evaluation of substances used in food packaging (essential oils, Alliaceae extracts, nanoclays and graphene). She has been the coordinator of the Food Safety section of the Spanish Association of Toxicology since October 2014.
