Esther López García
PhD in Epidemiology. Full Professor of Preventive Medicine and Public Health, Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM). She is a Professor of Epidemiology and imparts classes in the graduate courses in Medicine, Nursing and Human Nutrition and Dietetics.
Her lines of research include obesity prevention and cardiovascular disease through diet and lifestyle changes, and the effect of diet on patients with cardiovascular diseases, and the deterioration of physical function and disability in the elderly.
She is a member of the Nutrition Groups of the Spanish Society of Epidemiology and of IMDEA-Food.
