Araceli Díaz Perales
PhD in Biological Sciences. Full Professor and Principal Investigator of the Plant Allergens Research Group at the Center for Plant Biotechnology and Genomics of the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
She has supervised 7 doctoral theses and participated in 11 research projects, being the principal investigator in 7 of them. She has published 107 articles in international scientific journals and 2 books or book chapters.
The main lines of research in which she has worked are related to the development of technologies for the detection, diagnosis and treatment of food allergies; the study of the agents and immunological phenomena triggered during the allergic response; and the development and validation of biotechnological tools applied to the research of genetically modified organisms or in vitro cellular models.
