Rosa María Capita González

 

Graduate in Food Science and Technology. PhD in Veterinary Medicine and Full Professor of the Department of Hygiene and Food Technology of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of León.

Her research focuses on the following topics: antibiotic resistance; bacterial biofilms; detection, isolation, quantification and identification of pathogenic microorganisms in food (Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella enterica, among others) and the decontamination of food of animal origin.
