Strategies for the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases (or chronic diseases), or prevention of overweight and obesity (as the strategy NAOS), should be based on the best available evidence, at the beginning of public health, be free of conflicts of interest and have population approach but near the individual to their motivation and commitment to the healthier habits.
