Chloropropanols
The CNA has the following determinations for this type of compound within its accreditation scope:
- 3-chloro-1,2-propanediol (3-MCPD) and 1,3 dichloro-2-propanol (1,3-DCP) in foodstuffs, by gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (GC/MS).
- 3-chloro-1,2-propanediol (3-MCPD) coming from fatty acid esters in oil and fat by gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (GC/MS).
