New process hygiene criterion for Campylobacter in broiler carcasses

The carcases have been published.

The new Regulation establishes a process hygiene criterion for Campylobacter in broiler carcasses with a limit of 1.000 cfu/g. This hygiene criterion is expected to grow progressively stricter in the forthcoming years.

The criterion will be applicable from 1 January 2018.
